Adverse Life Experiences
Adverse life experience could be death of a loved one, medical injury or chronic illness, physical trauma or interpersonal violence, social isolation, job loss, divorce, natural disaster, relationship conflict or break ups, bullying or social media influences. Quality of life can be affected by these life experiences and there are ways to cope with them.

Behaviour and substance addiction
An additive can be all entities capable of stimulating an individual. Addiction is considered when a habit switches to an obligation. The therapist focuses on changing individual’s behaviuor or addiction in part by teaching life skills that could assist them cope better with the situation as well as how to cope with relapse.

Depression
It’s generally a common, but serious medical condition that negatively affects how people act and feel. It results in sadness, loss of interest in things you usually enjoyed doing. It may occur with other mental disorders as well as other illnesses like cancer, heart disease, diabetes, and chronic pain. It can worsen those conditions and vice versa. Fortunately, depression can be treated. Call or talk to your doctor or a therapist.

Emotional regulation
It is the ability to recognize, respond and manage your emotions. When emotions impact your overall quality of life, academic or work performance or your relationship, you may want to find ways to cope with them. The therapist will use a person-centered approach, CBT, DBT, mindfulness and other humanistic approaches to help you manage your affect or emotions.
